Savory Salmon by Charlene Krause
I have acquired many delicious recipes throughout the years. Many people are constantly asking for some of my recipes, so I have decided to share some. The recipes are from family (especially my husband), friends, neighbors, the Internet and even my boss.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I have - Charlene
1 Stick of Butter
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 Cup Gnarly Head Chardonnay
1 Large Onion (chopped)
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Salmon Filet
1 Foil Pan (or you can make one using heavy duty foil)
Savory Salmon
1) Take the first 5 ingredients and put in a small saucepan and cook on low or simmer for 1 hour.
2) Put the salmon in the foil pan skin side down and cook for 5 minutes, after 5 minutes put the mixture on top of the salmon. Spoon mixture on top every
few minutes.
3) Cook approximately 20 to 25 minutes for a whole filet weighing 2 pounds.
4) It is highly recommended that you don't marinade the salmon as it tends to get mushy and if sitting in the marinade the skin doesn't come off as easily.
5) Be careful not to overcook the salmon . Cooking with the skin on keeps the salmon nice and juicy.
